There are several support groups throughout the United States specfically for people who have sleep apnea, and their families. These groups are often free, informative, and welcoming.
Supported by the American Sleep Apnea Association, these groups meet either monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly, and discuss the following topics:
- How sleep apnea can affect your health
- The many treatment options
- Sleep Apnea's affect on your mood and personality
- The specific relationship between sleep apnea and heart disease
- Diet and exercise recommendations
- The importance of quality sleep as it relates to social, mental, and physical well-being

This site is managed and operated by Ankur A Gupta, DDS, a General Dentist practicing in North Ridgeville, OH. Dr. Gupta is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and places a particular emphasis on the recognition and treatment of Sleep Apnea in his office.
